Completing the deal is our Modus Operandi

A Solicitor firm, a long-standing client of ASC Director David Bamber in Essex, approached him to assist them with their next project – the purchase of a freehold premises when their lease in the building they were occupying lapsed.

They were looking to purchase the property jointly through their SIPP and through a limited company. Despite this structure, David was able to find a lender willing to support this application. The deal with a lender was originally agreed, in principal, in March. However, due to the Covid-19 Lockdown, in the following months, the lender changed its parameters of the deal as its underwriting changed. In the meantime, things were made difficult for the client as they had to move out of the leased premises.

Through a steadfast approach to working with the lender, valuers and solicitor firm (the new vendors), David was able to successfully complete the deal. The client was delighted and is now settled in their new office.
