We asked AI whether AI could replace a commercial mortgage broker. This was their response. What do you think ?

Most people who have been on social media recently will have seen that there’s a lot going on with AI advancements at the moment. While AI technology has advanced significantly in recent years, it is unlikely that it will entirely replace the need for a commercial mortgage broker. Well of course we would say that, but here are some reasons why:

  1. Personalized Service: Commercial mortgage brokers provide personalized service to clients, taking the time to understand their unique financial situation and goals. This level of service is difficult for AI to replicate, as it is not yet capable of providing the same level of empathy and intuition that a human broker can offer.
  2. Industry Expertise: Commercial mortgage brokers have extensive knowledge and experience in the industry, including an understanding of lender requirements, market conditions, and regulations. AI can provide data and insights, but it is not yet capable of offering the same level of industry expertise.
  3. Complex Transactions: Commercial mortgage transactions can be complex, involving multiple parties and intricate legal and financial requirements. A human broker can help to navigate these complexities, while AI technology may struggle to account for all the variables and nuances involved in a transaction.
  4. Relationship Building: Commercial mortgage brokers build relationships with lenders and borrowers, which can help to facilitate deals and secure favorable terms for their clients. While AI can help to identify potential lenders and loan options, it is not yet capable of building the same level of rapport and trust as a human broker.

Overall, while AI technology can assist with certain aspects of the commercial mortgage process, it is unlikely to replace the need for a human broker entirely. Commercial mortgage brokers provide personalized service, industry expertise, and relationship building skills that are difficult for AI to replicate, making them an essential part of the commercial mortgage industry.

So we think the AI response, whilst all factually correct, lacks the warmth and humour with which we normally write. We think that’s really the point made for us, at the end of the day so much of our success is about people. What do you think of the AI written blog?
