We are certainly proud of all the deals we’ve completed for our clients, but most recently we were touched by a client which David Bamber, ASC Essex, had the opportunity to help.
To set the scene, David received a call about a client who needed urgent finance for his business. After David’s meeting with the client, he drove past his business as he’s local, and he saw that his client was not there, but the business was busy and seemed to be doing well.
David’s client was 75, and he had a £250,000 mortgage with a high street lender due to be paid in two months. So, our client needed the funds fast, as he previously acquired a costly bridging loan.
By getting a full understanding of the client and their business, we worked out that the clients’ sons (who were in their 30s) were heavily involved in the business and were able and happy to join in on a long-term commercial mortgage. Neither the bank nor previous brokers had even suggested this simple option. On this occasion, the value of ASC can be a life-changing decision.
The client’s current bank never explained ASC’s simple solution, and another broker he spoke to suggested to do another expensive bridging loan and extend the agony. With affordable monthly payments David’s solution means that his client could now retire in peace, no more sleepless nights, and be stress-free.
From ASC’s point of view, it was a simple decision, the client just wasn’t aware of all the options. On this occasion, the value of ASC, was quite literally a life-changing decision.
