Raising business funding today – More than just CBILS

The Government’s Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) has received plenty of press in recent weeks. It has provided an opportunity for some business to receive finance which they might not otherwise have been able to access. The scheme has also come into some criticism (which we won’t get into here).

But there are other types of finance which are still available for small businesses. Both those who do not qualify for the CBILS scheme, and those which do, but might have other more suitable options available to them.

These include:

  • Peer-2-Peer Finance – A potentially quick way of providing working capital to small businesses
  • Invoice Financing – A method of assisting small businesses with cash flow
  • Asset Finance – Securing finance against assets such as machinery or vehicles
  • Property Finance – Securing loans against bricks and mortar is very attractive to lenders
  • And More…

So if you are looking for finance to support your business, you can speak to your local director who can talk you through the many different options which might be available.
