Britain’s property market is reopening

As part of the government’s easing of lockdown restrictions, plans to revive Britain’s property market have been set out. Estate agents have been allowed to reopen, property viewings to be carried out again, and removal firms and conveyancers to restart operations. Construction is also allowed to continue providing social distancing is applied where possible.

Estate agents and housebuilders have already reported a surge in enquiries with Rightmove seeing an increase in enquiries of 45%.

Property investors, landlords and developers are therefore already beginning to explore their next projects and as the new world brings its own new challenges, one of the key ones remaining is having the access to funds. If any of your clients are considering new opportunities or need funding, contact your local ASC director. We will help them get the funds lined up and ensure they are ready to go.
