Old-fashioned is sometimes better

The old-fashioned way is sometimes better. Don’t get me wrong, there are obvious benefits in technological advancements. You can now order a taxi at the touch of a button on your phone. You can instantly video-call a relative on the other side of the world. And you can go online and buy that pair of shoes you’ve always wanted.

But sometimes this comes at a price. It a world where everything is online, and there aren’t always people to speak to, how do you get the difficult questions answered?

Take applying for finance for a second. Imagine you were looking into how best to arrange finance and wanted to know the options which were available to you. And you wanted answers to questions like: “What deposit do I need to buy a business?”, “Can I refinance my existing business loan onto a different rate?” “Are there loans available which will let me make early repayments?” or “Will my credit history affect my chances of getting a business loan?”

Now imagine trying to ask, and receive all those questions via an online chat service. Or via 20 back and forth e-mails. It would be a nightmare. That’s when the old fashioned approach of a face-to face interaction with an experienced professional has its advantages.

That’s why sometimes, the old-fashioned options of dealing with an experienced individual who is there to assist you through the process from start to finish, is invaluable!
