Imagine a scenario.
You’re going for a simple operation, and just before you are wheeled into the operating theatre, the doctor introduces himself. During the conversation, he says that he’s never actually performed this type of surgery before – in fact it is his first operation.
Be honest – most of us might feel a bit uncomfortable at this point. Obviously, you might be assured by the hospital’s reputation, and the doctor’s manner and medical degree, but you can’t hide form the fact that we place a certain value in experience. It is reassuring that someone has been down the road before, so they know what they are doing, know what pitfalls to avoid, can respond to any challenges, and have the conviction to achieve the right results.
And this is true whether it is a doctor in a hospital, a commercial finance broker looking for business funding, or any other aspect of life.
