It can be difficult to raise finance for a property development, especially if you have never completed a development before. But as one client of us found out, with over 50 years’ of experience on your side with ASC, anything is possible!

A recent client approached ASC Essex with this exact dilemma. He had set up a new limited company, and been able to purchase the land himself. Having obtained planning permission for his development, he then required the funding. As he had no previous property development experience, it was difficult to find a lender who was willing to provide the finance.

Using our close relationships with the various lenders, ASC was able to emphasise to the lenders that although out client might have lacked experience, the team which he had built around him did not. After some difficult negotiations, ASC were able to secure the client 100% of the build and professional costs, with interest rolled up, amounting to an 18 month facility of £600,000.
