Love is in the air!
Today, of course is Valentine’s Day. And if you are a small business owner, we know that your true love and passion is probably your business. But Valentine’s Day, and other events could present a big opportunity for your business to promote itself and grow.
Take, for example, Heineken. Last year they launched an online social media campaign which enabled people to “serenade” a potential date in the run up to the day. The campaign received over 5 million likes, showing that it made great inroads in promoting their business.
What about businesses on a smaller budget? This year PWC (okay, they do have a big budget, but this campaign is something a small business could potentially do!) were launching a campaign to help their on-campus recruitment, by handing out heart shaped balloons with the message “at the heart of the best opportunities”.
