Some things are just part of business. We’ve all had to fill in forms, read the small print, and just carry out the mundane parts of any transaction. But sometimes you can make these slightly more interesting, and help give your brand some additional exposure or identity along the way.
Take the airline safety instructions. Now anyone who has flown fairly regularly knows the drill by now, and most airlines go through the routine safety briefing rather quickly. But here is an example of an airline which went that extra mile, and really stood out above the rest.
Here is the video from Air New Zealand, who joined forces with the Hobbit movie, to produce an entertaining safety video. The film includes characters from the movie, and offers something more than the usual briefings. The video was a huge success, not only on board the flights, but also on YouTube, where it has been viewed 11 million times.
