When did your bank last speak to you?
We wanted to tell you about a recent interesting deal which we successfully arranged for a client of ours. They were an established builder and contracting company, who were looking to raise finance to undertake a property development.
Despite being a successful company with a long standing track record, they didn’t have a bank manager to speak to who understood their business! Fortunately they came to ASC, and having spent the time to understand their business and their financial requirements and concerns, we were able to secure finance of over £1,000,000 for them to refinance their existing loans and capital raise for the development.
But, the most interesting insight about this deal was that we ultimately provided them with finance through their own bank! As our client was busy running their own business, they didn’t have the capability to spend hours on the phone to different call-centres and going through options on an automated telephone. Having understood what they were looking for, ASC were able to identify the right lenders which met their requirements, and reach out directly to the bank’s decision makers through our communication channels. Our client’s bank had their ideal client the whole time, but never took the opportunity to find out about it.
