As 2024 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on the last 12 months of commercial finance broking at ASC. It’s been a challenging year for everyone – against economic uncertainty at home and abroad. That means it’s been another busy year for ASC brokers – helping our clients and introducers to grow, build and thrive.
Our biggest news was our change of ownership. In May, three of our regional directors, Dominic Williams, Conrad Robins, and Alex Milham, formed a partnership to assume ownership and management of ASC. Seven months in, the trio is well-established at the helm and has exciting plans for the business.
ASC was crowned “Commercial Broker Network of the Year” in the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) Commercial Broker Awards 2024. The award recognises broking excellence and a commitment to delivering the highest industry standards. We competed against six other finalists, including winners from previous years, so this win was a significant achievement.
We welcomed a new regional director to the ASC fold and established an office in the West Midlands. Rhys Mendelson is a finance professional who previously worked as a client relationship manager for a firm of financial advisors. He’ll be supporting our clients in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
As the lender market becomes ever tighter, we’ve increased our headcount to meet the increasing needs of our clients. In 2024, we welcomed Alex Coleman (Kent), Sean Conner (Essex), Gary Belton and Daniel Sibley (Sussex), Dominic Mayes and Jason Mendelson (West Midlands).
We’ve reviewed and increased our lender panel by 10%, providing more options for our clients’ complex needs.
Our total deal completions increased by 10%, reflecting the success of our continued investment in the business.
